Jerusalem - Ma'an - The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, congratulated the head of the Political Council of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, on assuming his new duties. In a message he addressed to him, Salami told Sinwar: 'Your selection as a successor to the martyr Haniyeh has shown that his path will continue until the liberation of all the occupied Palestinian territories,' and he stressed that 'the Revolutionary Guards will spare no effort in supporting the Hamas movement and supporting all resistance factions.' Salami concluded his message to Sinwar by saying: 'The news of your assuming the presidency of the movement's political bureau has gladdened the hearts of believers and planted great concern in the souls of the Zionist enemies and their supporters.' He added: "The Palestinian people changed the balance of power in the region and the world, in favor of the Islamic nation, and I am confident that the resistance will uproot the Zionists."
