Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met on Sunday with Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars L¸kke Rasmussen to discuss efforts to end the Israeli war on Gaza and to halt violations by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank and in Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA: The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Shaheen. Mustafa emphasized the need to stop Israel’s violations of international law, including closure of border crossings, weaponization of starvation in Gaza, settlement expansion, annexation plans, forced displacement in the West Bank and in Jerusalem, and withholding of Palestinian tax revenues and deductions from those revenues. Mustafa praised Denmark for support for the two-State solution, endorsement of the New York Conference Declaration, and support for Palestine.
Rasmussen affirmed Denmark’s support for the two-State solution, for ending the war on Gaza, for reopening of crossings, and for entry of humanitarian aid.
