Qabatiya: Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, located south of Jenin, on Monday morning, conducting raids on several homes and converting them into military barracks. The military operation saw forces deployed across various neighborhoods, causing disruptions in daily life. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Qabatiya Education Directorate took precautionary measures by rescheduling school hours for students in the affected areas. Schools in Qabatiya, Masiliya, Anza, Maithalun, Sayr, al-Jadidah, and Sanur were postponed to Thursday to ensure the safety of students amid the heightened military presence. The situation in the region remains tense, with local sources indicating that the Israeli forces' actions have raised concerns among residents about the potential for further escalations. The transformation of residential homes into military bases has drawn criticism from local communities who are apprehensive about the long-term impact on their neighborhoods.
