The Secretary-General of Ajial Gathering, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhud, confirmed that the elections for the Speaker of Parliament are free and democratic and did not witness any government or political interference in them. He explained in a press statement today that: 'The attempt to involve the government in the process of electing the Speaker of Parliament is to mix the cards and create political crises, the aim of which is to put the stick in the wheels of the electoral process.'
