The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Friday, the implementation of intensive security practices on the Rusafa side of Baghdad. The spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Miqdad Miri, said in a statement: ' Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command implemented intensive security practices within the sector of responsibility under the direct supervision of the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Commander, Major General Shaalan Ali Saleh Al-Hasnawi, which resulted in the arrest of (133) wanted persons violators and a suspect, in addition to violators of residency requirements of different nationalities, was also seized (202) motorcycles in violation of legal instructions and (54) wanted vehicles with a seize sign on them and in violation of legal instructions.' He added: 'Legal measures were taken against those arrested and the seized items were handed over in accordance with the approved contexts.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
