The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that the Israeli occupation is exploiting international double standards to continue its criminal policies against the Palestinian people, especially in light of the increasing pace of genocide and forced displacement in the northern Gaza Strip over the past 10 days. The Ministry considered in a statement issued today that Israel is practicing the most heinous forms of crimes in what it described as an "open massacre" targeting Palestinian civilians to empty the areas of their residents, whether through direct killing or forced displacement. It indicated that the latest of these crimes was the massacre committed by the occupation forces this morning at a food distribution center in Jabalia, in addition to the massacre that took place at dawn against the tents of the displaced in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah. The Ministry stressed that the international failure to take firm steps to stop this war contributes to encouraging Is rael to move forward in implementing its plans aimed at displacing the Palestinian people and dismembering their homeland through the crimes of gradual annexation, establishing buffer zones, and deepening colonialism. It considered that these crimes aim to eliminate any possibility of embodying an independent Palestinian state on the ground. The Ministry stressed that the Palestinian people are not only victims of the prolonged occupation, but also victims of international double standards and the inability of the international community to implement its decisions related to the Palestinian issue. It pointed out that Palestinian diplomacy continues to exert its political and legal efforts at the international level to expose Israeli crimes and demand binding practical steps to stop the Israeli aggression. The Ministry said it also works to urge the international community to implement the United Nations resolutions, especially the advisory decision of the International Court of Justice, which calls for en ding the occupation within 12 months.
