RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the international failure to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy and the orders of the International Court of Justice to force Israel to stop its aggression against Palestinian people encourages it to persist in committing more massacres. In a statement issued today, the Ministry stressed that an immediate ceasefire is the only way to protect Palestinian civilians and create an appropriate environment to complete the exchange deal. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the heinous massacre committed by the occupation in Mawasi Khan Yunis, which led to the killing of more than 40 Palestinian civilians, more than 60 wounded and a number of others missing, is an official Israeli policy that is determined to transform the entire Gaza Strip into an empty land unfit for human life. It pointed out that the continued impunity of Israel and its leaders and the provision of protection for it gives it more time to commit th e most heinous forms of killing, ethnic cleansing and displacement against Palestinian citizens.
