The Ministry of Planning announced today, Wednesday, a slight increase in the monthly inflation rate during the month of February, compared to the previous month of January. The Ministry's official Spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement that the Statistics and Geographic Information Systems Authority monitored an increase in the inflation rate during the month of February by (0.3%), compared to the month of January, which recorded an increase by (0.4%), compared to the last month of last year, 2023, pointing out that the annual inflation rate also recorded an increase, by (0.6%) during last February, compared to the same month of 2023.
