The Ministry of Oil announced that no company submitted a bid to develop the North Rutba area, within Anbar Governorate, within the activities of the projects attached to the fifth and sixth licensing rounds. The Ministry stated in a statement, 'The North Rutba area extends within Anbar Governorate with an area of about 6,928 square kilometers, and there are no drilled wells and no company submitted a bid to develop them, and the project will be postponed until the end of the round.'
