The Ministry of Interior announced the entry of nearly three million visitors to commemorate the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, until yesterday.
A statement of the Ministry of the Interior, stated that the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Arbaeen visit continues its work, with the deployment of the security units in charge of this duty in all regions and the roads taken by visitors towards the holy Karbala, amid full alert for the intelligence, security and service effort.
It added that the concerned authorities have initiated procedures to facilitate the process of entry of visitors from all ports of the country, namely (Al-Munthariya - Zirbatiya - Al-Shaib - Al-Shalamjah - Safwan - Mandali - Kirkuk - Al-Qaim - Baghdad Airport - Najaf Airport - Basra Airport). The number of arriving vehicles has reached (8284) vehicles while the number of arrivals reached (292,329) people, and with this, the number of arrivals since the beginning of the visit ceremony reached (2,946,972).
