Baghdad, Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed, today, Tuesday, with the concerned authorities the issue of illegal foreign labor in the country. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that "Al-Shammari chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee composed of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and the head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, in the presence of the Minister of Migration and Displacement, whose mission will be to provide a comprehensive vision and solutions to the issue of illegal foreign labor in the country." The ministry added that "the attendees discussed the mechanism for developing relevant recommendations that are required to address the illegal presence of foreign labor in Iraq and identify the challenges in this regard."
