Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns Zionist aggression on southern suburbs of Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the cowardly Zionist aggression on the Haret Hreik area in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, killing and injuring number of citizens. The ministry pointed out in a statement - received by Saba a copy of it - that this dangerous Zionist escalation is a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of Lebanon. Warning the Zionist entity against crossing red lines and dragging the region to the unfortunate consequences. The statement stressed that United States is a partner in this aggression through its unlimited support for this usurping entity. The Ministry called on the international community to play its role in condemning this blatant aggression, which is contrary to the Charter of the United Nations and all international norms and conventions. The statement praised the heroic and courageous stance of the Hezbollah in support of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance. The Ministry expressed the full solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the brotherly Republic of Lebanon and its valiant resistance. Stressing the Lebanese right to self-defense, and responding to the brutal Zionist aggression at the level it deems appropriate and deterrent. It called on the governments and peoples of the Islamic Ummah to assume their religious, moral, political and media responsibilities in support of Palestine and the fronts of Arabic support, and to redouble efforts to curb Zionist arrogance, put an end to its criminal practices supported by the United States, and raise the voice loudly against the provocative American policy, which has gone too far in encouraging the continuous Zionist crime, and exaggerated and continues to exaggerate the disregard for Arab Muslim blood since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza until today, which requires the entire nation to take effective positions; for its present and future.
