Ministry of Defense: A terrorist and four drug dealers arrested

The Ministry of Defense announced the arrest of a terrorist and four drug dealers. The ministry said in a statement: "The detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate in the Ministry of Defense arrested four wanted persons, one of whom was accused of terrorism and three others of drug trafficking and promotion. The arrests were made based on accurate intelligence information through their presence in different areas of the capital. Arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Articles (4 Terrorism, 28 Drugs)." It added: "The detachments of the directorate arrested a drug dealer red-handed in Najaf Governorate, and seized narcotic substances in his possession that he intended to sell. The substances were confiscated and the accused was referred to detention in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 Drugs)." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
