Minister of Public Works and Minister of Municipality Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan on Thursday warned landlords of buildings to remove used and discarded items from the premises immediately. The minister, who was speaking to journalists as she toured several residential districts to shame offenders at the residential and commercial buildings, was accompanied by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah. The law will be directly exacted upon the violators, the minister warned as she and the accompanying officials examined the breaching cases in Al-Mahboula, Al-Mangaf and Jleeb Al-Shoyoukh. Misplaced discarded items must be removed instantly, she stressed disclosing that power supply had already been cut off from buildings where such dumping was discovered. Source: Kuwait News Agency
