Ramallah: Colonists attacked the town of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, on Sunday evening and fired live bullets at residents. Head of Umm Safa village council, Marwan Sabah, reported that the colonists assaulted civilians at the western entrance to the village, while the village council was laying a water line in the area. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists are withholding the owner of a bulldozer and the worker accompanying him. Sabah noted that during the attack, a vehicle belonging to one of the citizens present was destroyed. He pointed out that no one was able to reach the victims during the incident. Sabah further stated that the occupation army stormed the town to protect the colonists and fired tear gas bombs at the citizens, resulting in several suffocation cases.
