Minister of Water Resources Aoun Dhiab announced today, Monday, that a specialized Turkish technical committee will come to Baghdad in the coming days. Dhiab said in a televised statement: "We raised the most important requirements of Iraq in our meetings with the Turkish side, which promised us good regarding our request to increase water releases, adding that we are working to move our relations with Turkey from agreements to field work." He continued: "We aim to introduce modern technologies to water projects in Iraq and have identified (3) dams in different governorates to harvest water." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
