HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater participated in a round-table discussion at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI). The round-table discussed a number of issues of common concern, especially with regards to humanitarian aid and development. Participants at the table discussed a number of topics concerning justice in the world order and the need for a radical reconsideration of development goals nationally and internationally, as well as in relation to financial and economic policies, noting that they have led to unprecedented gaps in human history, with wealth concentrated in specific regions and with specific economic institutions while other world regions lack it despite being rich in economic resources, thus, stressing the need to work seriously to address this imbalance.
