Bern, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met Tuesday in Bern with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the field of mediation and resolving international disputes. The meeting also tackled the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the situation in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and the African continent, along with several other regional and international issues of mutual interest. HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized during the meeting the importance of the Qatari-Swiss partnership, noting its development and growth, and its contribution to enhancing international efforts and prioritizing dialogue as a means to achieve peace, security, stability, and development in the region. For his part, the Swiss Foreign M inister expressed his appreciation to Qatar for its efforts in the field of mediation and resolving regional and international conflicts. He emphasized the importance of Qatar's continued mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
