Geneva, HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met today HE Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo, on the sidelines of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the ILO and ways to support and develop them in the coming period. The two sides stressed the need to take advantage of the 112th session of the International Labour Conference, which brings together the three labour parties and comes up with effective recommendations and solutions to overcome the effects of the crises, which have had many negative effects on the global labour market, especially considering the challenges facing many economies in various countries of the world.
