Baghdad, Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari chaired an expanded conference to discuss strategic issues. The Ministry stated in a statement: "During the conference, in the presence of a number of advisors, experts, leaders and officers, the mechanism for developing security tasks was discussed in line with the vision of the Ministry of Interior and the overall work and achievements made." The Minister stressed the importance of intensifying training, qualification, armament and strategic issues, in addition to reviewing previous decisions and the achievements made at the security and service levels and the measures taken by the Ministry at the administrative and functional levels. The attendees also discussed many important topics with the aim of improving work and providing the best services to citizens and enhancing security and stability in various regions of the country.
