HE Minister of Finance Ali Bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held a meeting with HE Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) held between April 15-20 of 2024 in Washington DC. During the meeting, a wide range of topics related to common interests were discussed, especially in the economic and financial fields, as well as ways in which these cooperative efforts between the two countries can be expanded. HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari also met with HE Chairman of the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) Dr. Fahad Mubarak Al Turki, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) held between April 15-20, 2024 in Washington DC, USA. Topics pertaining to mutual interests, particularly in the financial and ways to enhance financial stability in Arab countries, were discussed during the meeting, as well as measures aimed at broadening the scope of joint cooperation.
