Doha: HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, met Tuesday with a UK Parliament delegation led by HE Member of the Parliament and chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPGs) on Qatar, Alun Cairns. The delegation also included HE Shadow Minister of Housing and Communities Florence Eshalomi, HE Official Spokesman of the Scottish National Party Chris Law, and HE Member of the Petitions Committee and the Women and Equalities Committee Marsha De Cordova. The discussions focused on enhancing the bilateral collaboration between Qatar and the UK in the communications and information technology (ICT) sector. The agenda covered various topics such as promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, sharing best practices and experiences, exploring investment opportunities, and other areas of mutual interest related to the sector. HE Al Mannai underscored the significance of robust bilateral ties between Qatar and the UK. He emphasized both nations' dedication to advancin g cooperation across diverse fields, particularly the ICT sector.
