The Director of the Military Museum, Colonel Walid Mohammed Al-Yousifi, inaugurated on Tuesday the project of documenting wood sticks "Zaboor", which is implemented by the museum in partnership with the Hudhud Center for Archaeological Studies and with self-support. At the inauguration, the Director of the Military Museum considered the project an important step to document the contents of the Military Museum, a translation of the interest of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the directions of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff to document Yemen's civilized, historical and military military evidence. "The project is the first of the work of documenting and photographing the military museum's holdings to ensure that they are electronically registered in the museum's database," he said. Colonel Al-Yousifi praised the role of the joint committee from the museum and the Hudhud Center for Archaeological Studies and its voluntary effo rts in implementing the project. For his part, Abdullah Mohsen Musa, Project Officer at the Hudhud Center, confirmed that the project comes within the joint works translated into the cooperation agreement signed months ago between the Center and the Military Museum. The three-day documentation and photographic work targets the more than 70 wooden Zabur sticks in the Military Museum, which contain inscriptions written in the sunken Zabur script, he said.
