Baghdad, The Military Industrialization Commission announced today, Tuesday, the start of equipping the security forces with armored vehicles and advanced light weapons, indicating that the weapons' efficiency has been tested in very harsh experiments and internationally approved experiments. The Commission stated, 'we have begun contracts to equip the security forces with armored vehicles and advanced personal and light weapons, including the M4, as well as the upgraded version of the MK-47 weapon, which is the AK-103, developed from the Kalashnikov weapon.' It explained, "Production began last year, and the armed forces are now being equipped with a set of these products after they were tested through very harsh experiments and through continuous firing." Two days ago, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani inaugurated a number of military production factories and rehabilitation laboratories, including a factory for mortars and another for light equipment south of the capital, Baghdad.
