The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects thunderstorms of varying intensity to continue in most governorates during the next 24 hours. The center reported in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that heavy thunderstorms are expected, accompanied by hail and descending winds, on the highlands of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale'e, Al-Bayda, Tihama Plain and the coasts of the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Hodeidah, and Taiz. Scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to fall on parts of the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, Marib, Al-Jawf, Shabwa, Al-Mahrah, Hadhramaut and the southern coasts. It called on the relevant official authorities to take the necessary measures and procedures to protect lives and property and to follow up on the bulletins and reports issued by it.
