Meeting in Hodeida discusses compliance of restaurants with meat price list


A meeting at the Economy and Industry, Office , discussed on Thursday the extent to which restaurants adhere to the list of meat sale prices.

The meeting, which included the directors of the Economy Office, Saleh Mohammed, and the branch of the Slaughterhouse , Meat Sale Organization, Abdullah Al-Sharif, and restaurant owners in Hodeida, reviewed a number of violations in the meat sale and non-compliance with the approved official price.

The meeting discussed measures to protect consumers and aspects of coordination between the Industry Office , the Slaughterhouse Corporation branch and the competent authorities on strengthening control measures on restaurants and taking legal measures against manipulators and violators.

The meeting stressed on restaurant owners to adhere to the agreed upon prices, which are officially defined according to the types and types of meat, and not to modify or raise them for any reason to double the suffering of citizens, especially in light of the economic stage the country i
s going through.

He also stressed the importance of restaurants adhering to the health standards and requirements approved by the official authorities and not violating them under any circumstances and providing services that meet the required level.

The Director of the Economy and Industry Office emphasized the importance of following up the list of selling prices in restaurants for citizens, and overcoming any obstacles facing these restaurants in order to enhance their services, indicating that the control committees will not relent in seizing violators.
