A meeting in Amran province headed by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaman, discussed local water and sanitation corporation performance in the province. The meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Governor, Amin Faras, and members of the Board of Directors, reviewed a report presented by the Foundation's Director, Nabil Zaid Al-Houthi, on the projects implemented and under implementation within the plan for the current year 1445 AH, amounting to more than 443 billion in the water and sanitation sectors. At the meeting, Governor Jaman stressed the importance of benefiting from the solar energy system to operate water pumps from the corporation's wells, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens in light of the aggression and siege. He pointed to the keenness to improve the performance of the local water and sanitation corporation, improve its services, and develop revenues to ensure the expansion of its services in providing potable water and disposing of wastewater. He urged the Governor of Amran to redouble efforts in implementing plans and projects related to water and sanitation networks in the city of Amran, especially the areas that were not reached by the corporation's services.
