A meeting in Sana'a on Saturday, headed by the Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, discussed the mechanism for advancing the health sector and improving services in various governorates. The meeting, which included undersecretaries of the Ministry of Health, heads of agencies, directors of health offices and hospitals in the governorates, and directors of programs and departments in the Ministry, via video conference, touched on the executive procedures within the framework of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' campaign to continue mobilization and focus on the requirements of the stage and preparedness and readiness at various levels. The meeting discussed aspects related to improving health services and work priorities for the sake of supporting the Palestinian people, their valiant resistance, and confronting the Zionist-American enemy. In the meeting, Minister Al-Mutawakel stressed the keenness to improve the medical services provided to citizens and alleviate their suffering, stressing the need for everyone to feel responsible for advancing the health sector and improving services so that citizens can see them in reality. He directed hospital directors to self-evaluate the performance of hospitals and the services provided, stressing the importance of avoiding negatives during the past period, improving institutional performance and the health sector, and improving its services by taking advantage of technology and modern techniques in this aspect. He pointed to concerted efforts to achieve the main goals of improving the quality of medical service, reducing its cost, and working to automate work in various public and private health facilities. Al-Mutawakel urged everyone to carry out their responsibilities to ensure strengthening the role of the health sector in facing challenges and dangers, praising the efforts of the sector's cadres and their role in continuing to provide services. He also affirmed his readiness to participate in supporting the health sect or in Gaza and providing the necessary services to the residents of the Strip who were affected by the blatant American-Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, which affected facilities, services and hospitals.
