A meeting in Hajjah chaired by the Undersecretary of the Governorate and Chairman of the Agricultural Committee Ibrahim Amer discussed on Tuesday the mechanism for implementing the agricultural extension program "Field Schools for Farmers" for the year 1446 AH. The meeting, which included the directors of agricultural extension and information at the ministry Yusuf Sabra, the agriculture office in the governorate Hassan Hazazi, the departments of agricultural extension in the ministry Mohamed Abu Talib and agricultural extension in the governorate Khaled Al-Qaafi and the representative of the Agricultural and Fisheries Promotion Fund Abdul Malik Al-Arashi, reviewed the work plan and program, which this year includes 20 field schools in a number of districts. He touched on the role of the agricultural program and extension in introducing the method and importance of beekeeping and developing the capabilities of rural women in agricultural fields in order to ensure the strengthening of the factors of resilien ce and stability in the face of aggression. The meeting stressed the importance of concerted efforts and teamwork to ensure the success of the program and enhance awareness and the role of the concerned authorities in supporting these efforts. They noted the importance of the program and awareness of the expansion of the cultivation of cereals, legumes, corn, vegetables and cash crops to enhance food security and achieve self-sufficiency.
