Maysan Police arrested a suspect wanted for 5 murders in the capital, Baghdad, during tracking him down and arrest in Al-Kahla District, Maysan Governorate. The Maysan Police Command said in a statement: "As a result of joint coordination and efforts to track down wanted persons, Maysan Crime Control Department was able, after a security operation based on reliable sources, to arrest a suspect from Baghdad Governorate who had fled after committing (5) premeditated murders." It added that the suspect is wanted by the investigative authorities in the capital, Baghdad, according to Article (406) of premeditated murder for committing (5) murders against three men and two women from one family, noting that the necessary legal measures have been taken against him in accordance with the law."
