Maysan Police arrested a wanted terrorist suspect during a security operation carried out in the city of Amara, the provincial capital. The Maysan Police Command said in a statement received by the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "A force from Karama Police Department, in cooperation with a force from the Federal Police, carried out a security exercise to pursue wanted persons and implement arrest warrants, which resulted in the arrest of a wanted suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, indicating that legal and investigative measures were taken against him in accordance with the law."
