The Mayor of the capital, Dr. Hamoud Obbad, along with the Director of Traffic of the Amanat Al-Asimah, Colonel Muhammad Al-Qahoum, inaugurated on Monday a project to distribute Ramadan Iftar meals to traffic policemen who organize traffic through tours, intersections and main streets in the districts of Amanat Al-Asimah. The project aims to distribute 12,000 integrated Iftar meals during the month of Ramadan to 400 traffic policemen at a cost of 21 million riyals with the support of the Capital, 350 meals will be distributed to traffic men in the field and fifty meals to operations staff at the Municipality's office and operations staff in service sites. The mayor of the capital praised the efforts of traffic policemen in organizing traffic in tours, streets and main intersections in the directorates and performing their national duty, especially during Iftar time to ensure the safety of citizens from traffic accidents Source: Yemen News Agency
