A masked man who was caught on video firing shots in the air from an automatic weapon during an election rally in Maan last week was arrested on Saturday, the Public Security Directorate's media spokesman said Saturday. Investigators identified the shooter, who appeared in a video that went viral on social platforms, and a security force moved in after pinpointing the location, arresting the suspect and seizing the weapon, said the spokesman. He said investigators are examining similar videos in a crackdown on "celebratory firing" during the parliamentary polls. Source: Jordan News Agency
