This call to action was highlighted during a meeting between Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Rio de Janeiro. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the two leaders urged the occupation authorities to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza without hindrance or delay. Additionally, both officials reiterated their support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, designating East Jerusalem as its capital based on the 1967 borders, and advocated for Palestine's full membership in the United Nations.
