Mahweet province on Friday erupted in a show of solidarity today as 34 marches and demonstrations were held across various directorates. Under the banner 'In support of al-Aqsa and Gaza... Support continues and the response is coming,' participants voiced their staunch support for the Palestinian cause. Marches unfolded in Mahweet city, Shibam Kawkaban, al-Tawila, al-Khabt, Bani Saad, Malahan, Jabal Mahweet, al-Rujm, and Hafash, where demonstrators chanted slogans against the 'American-Zionist-British' alliance and their supporters. Protesters featured Yemeni and Palestinian flags, condemning the ongoing violence against Gaza and other Palestinian territories, which has persisted for 11 months. The protesters expressed unwavering support for their revolutionary leadership and commitment to resisting the Zionist-American-British coalition. They reiterated their readiness to engage in jihad and support Palestinian resistance until liberation is achieved. A statement from the marches emphasized the Palesti nian cause as the central issue for the Arab nation and vowed that the Yemeni people's solidarity would not waver. The statement underscored a call for continued mass mobilization to support Palestinians, while also criticizing the inadequate responses of the Arab and Islamic world to the ongoing violence and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It praised the Palestinian resistance's bravery, particularly highlighting the recent Qassam Brigades' attack on "occupied Jaffa." It denounced the international community's indifference and urged a stronger, more vocal stance against the brutalities faced by Palestinians. The marches concluded with support for Yemen's new government of change and construction, marking the beginning of a new phase of radical transformation in the region. Source : Yemen News Agency
