A statement by the Popular Mobilization Commission said, "A joint force from the Fourth Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army was able to destroy logistical support sites for the remnants of the terrorist ISIS north of Diyala Governorate." The statement added, "This came during a large security operation carried out by the force within the Diyala operations sector of the Popular Mobilization Forces, where it was able to find logistical support locations for the remnants of the terrorist ISIS in the village of Al-Kaij, which was used by the terrorist elements to store food supplies," indicating that 'The force was able to destroy those places.
