Local revenues reached JD5.328 billion in the first seven months of 2024, with an increase of JD58 million, compared to the same period in 2023, according to the Ministry of Finance's monthly bulletin. The revenues are enough to cover 91.1% of current expenditures, it said. Public spending by the central government during this period rose to JD6.394 billion, compared to JD6.153 billion in the same period last year.
