Lebanese PM , French President Discuss Developments in Lebanon

ebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has discussed developments in Lebanon and the region in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron. During the call, Mikati called on the French President to take a firm stance against the Israeli aggression during the Security Council session scheduled for Friday at the request of the Lebanese government, to discuss the incidents of explosions of communication devices in Lebanon, which led to the killing and wounding of thousands. For his part, the French President condemned the explosions that occurred in communication devices during the past two days, which left hundreds of victims, expressing his solidarity and sympathy with Lebanon in this painful ordeal. Many Lebanese regions witnessed simultaneous explosions of a large number of wireless communication devices on Tuesday and Wednesday, which led to the deaths of people and thousands of injuries, as well as material damage to a number of properties and caused a state of panic among the population.
