Lebanon's Information Minister Ziad Makary said that the events that took place on Tuesday constitute a flagrant attack on Lebanese sovereignty. He emphasized the significance of increasing US pressure on Israel rather than Lebanon. In a press statement to the media on Tuesday evening, Makary explained that what happened today contradicts the US and international moves that appear to be pressuring Israel, adding that it is too early to draw accurate conclusions about the recent developments in Lebanon. Makary added, "What happened today affected Lebanese citizens, not only Hezbollah members, and the government accused Israel of being responsible for this massacre that Lebanon witnessed, and what we fear is not Hezbollah but Israel's criminality, whether in Gaza or in Lebanon."
