The Governor of Amran, Dr. Faisal Jaman, launched today, Wednesday, the Ramadan control campaign to monitor markets and control prices, which is implemented by the Industry Office and will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan. At the inauguration of the campaign, which was attended by the province's deputy, Abdul Rahman Al-Ghouli, and the director of the province's industry office, Nabih Abu Shawsa, and Governor Jaman stressed the importance of launching the campaign in strengthening field control efforts on markets and arresting violators. He praised the efforts of the Industry Office in maintaining the stability of the food supply situation, providing basic and necessary foodstuffs to people, and controlling prices. While Abu Shawsa indicated that the campaign, which is being implemented in cooperation with the province's leadership, district directors, and all concerned parties aims to control any price violations or commercial fraud and refer violators to the competent authorities to tak e legal measures.
