Launching fourth phase of distributing prosthetic devices for people with disabilities in Hajjah

The branch of the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund in Hajjah Province launched today, Wednesday, the fourth phase of the project to distribute prosthetic , medical devices and assistive tools for people with disabilities. The phase, funded by the Fund's main center, includes the distribution of large, small, clinical and educational mobile vehicles, bathroom chairs, mattresses and medical pillows to 350 people from all directorates. At the inauguration, the Province's Undersecretary for Cultural and Mobilization Affairs, Hamoud Al-Maghribi, and the Undersecretary, Muhammad Al-Qadi, praised the role of the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund branch in developing the performance level in the Fund and meeting the needs of the segment of people with special needs. In turn, the director of the Fund's branch in the province, Yahya Al-Naami, explained that the fourth phase of the project comes within a package of projects implemented by the branch to alleviate the suffering of people with disabilities, th e severity of which has been exacerbated by the difficult circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege. He pointed out that the previous stages targeted more than 650 people with disabilities, and that the next stages will work to meet the needs of the largest number of people with disabilities in the province. He called on the province leadership and civil society organizations to provide support to the Fund branch to ensure the continuity of its services and reach the largest possible number of people with special needs in all directorates of the province.
