BAYDA - SABA: The Undersecretary of Al-Bayda Governorate, Saleh Al-Mansouri, inaugurated today the 18th phase of the emergency cash transfers project for social security beneficiaries, funded by the World Bank, and supervised by UNICEF, in cooperation with the Social Fund for Development branch. Undersecretary Al-Mansouri listened to the executive director of the Social Welfare Fund branch in the governorate, Saleh Al-Amri, to explain the mechanism for disbursing social security cases for 61,000 cases, with an amount of one billion and 500 million riyals, an increase of 50 percent. Al-Amri pointed out that the exchange centers receive beneficiary cases over a period of 26 days in all directorates of the province through Al-Amal Bank and its agents, in accordance with the work plan of the field team in charge of procedures for examining the beneficiaries' documents. Undersecretary Al-Mansouri stressed the keenness to facilitate the procedures for disbursing social security entitlements to alleviate the suf fering of citizens as a result of the aggression and its repercussions in hindering the delivery of aid to destitute and poorest families. He pointed to the interest of the leadership of the local authority in overcoming the difficulties facing the concerned authorities to make their work successful. Source: Yemen News Agency
