The discussion centered on collaborative projects aimed at promoting gender equality and empowering women, highlighting both achievements and challenges in integrating gender considerations and decent work standards in Jordan. In a press release, the federation emphasized Al-Fanatsah's commitment to partnering with the ILO to advance women's empowerment, particularly within trade unions. This partnership is part of a broader strategy to achieve gender equality, focusing on investment in unpaid and low-paid care work predominantly performed by women. Al-Fanatsah also outlined plans to address the needs of migrant women working in various sectors, including domestic labor. He underscored the positive impact of increased female representation and leadership on national and community outcom es.
