Deportivo Alaves secured a 2-1 victory over visiting Sevilla on Friday evening, kicking off the sixth round of matches in the Spanish La Liga. Alaves climbed to fifth place in the standings with ten points, while Sevilla remained in 14th place with five points. Four more matches are scheduled for today, Saturday, as part of the same round.
