KUWAIT, The Interior Ministry's criminal investigation department managed to foil on Tuesday the smuggling of six million Lyrica (Pregabalin) pills through Kuwait's international airport. The ministry said in a statement that the Criminal Investigation's Drug Control General Department (DCGD) apprehended six individuals involved in the operation. The value of the confiscated substance is about KD two million, added the statement. The Interior Ministry will continue its efforts to prevent narcotics from being smuggled into the country, the statement affirmed. It called on all citizens and residents to cooperate with the security authorities in the country, contacting the 112 emergency number or the DCGD's 1884141 hotline to report any suspicious behavior and crimes.
