AMMAN, Kuwait Disabled Sports Club of wheelchair basketball have cruised into the semi-final of the 8th future generation championship of West Asia clubs currently held in Jordan's capital, Amman, and will last until June 7. The team defeated Tuesday their UAE's rivals, Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, 68-38 to top the group in the tourney featuring seven clubs. Speaking to KUNA, Shafi Al-Hajri, head of the club, said the Kuwaiti team deserve this qualification as the players have performed well. The team will meet Wednesday, tomorrow, the second position in the other group, he noted, stressing that Kuwaiti players would do their best in this game to qualify for the final.
