His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's representative, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, met with President of the European Council Charles Michel, on sidelines of the EU-GCC Summit in Brussels on Wednesday. His Highness the Prime Minister extended best regards of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and their affirmation on the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and the European Union. Kuwait, said His Highness the Prime Minister, was keen on boosting constructive cooperation with the EU in all fields in a manner that serves common interests. The two leaders discussed means of boosting Kuwait-EU relations, and exchanged views over regional and international issues of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative and Communications Affairs at the Diwan of the Prime Minister Sheikh Khaled Mohamm ad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Najeeb Al-Bader, Assistant Foreign Minister for Europe Affairs Sadeq Marafi, and Kuwait Ambassador to Belgium, EU and NATO Nawaf Al-Enezi.
