Kuwait Amir receives Eid greetings from Iraqi president

KUWAIT, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Saturday a telephone call from Iraqi President Dr. Abdulatif Rashid expressing congratulations on Eid Al-Adha. The Iraqi president hoped that the occasion would recur along with abundant goodness and blessings for the two countries, peoples, the Arab and Muslim nations. He also wished His Highness the Amir utmost wellbeing and the State of Kuwait top progress and prosperity under the sagacious leadership of His Highness. His Highness the the Amir Sheikh Meshal expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gracious gesture, the brotherly communications that depict the solid, brotherly, and historic bonds between the two countries. He also congratulated the president on the Eid occasion, wishing him top welfare and the Republic of Iraq and the gracious people all progress and prosperity under His Excellency's wise leadership.
