The Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc confirmed that regional development allocations and investment expenditures are fully secured in the general budget tables. MP Ikhlas al-Dulaimi said in a joint press conference today, Monday, that "budgets are messages of economic, security and political stability for any country, and this is through the enacted laws that were passed, especially the budget tables law that was officially voted on today." She added, "The House of Representatives voted to approve these tables by adding a paragraph "for the Council of Ministers to allocate an amount of two trillion dinars to finance the governorates not organized in a region and according to population ratios." She explained, "These materials were a demand for all governorates and we, the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc, supported the governorates, especially the allocations for regional development and investment expenditures and all production costs are guaranteed and secured in the budget tables." Regarding the financin g of the ministries, she said, "There was high funding for these ministries and very large projects, as the percentage of the investment budget reached approximately 55 trillion dinars distributed between governorates and ministries on projects for all governorates." Regarding the region's share, she explained, "We have paragraphs and sections, which are employee compensation, and the Democratic Party bloc was keen to ensure that employee compensation is secured in the budget tables, and we secured these compensations through joint efforts by the regional government and the federal government."
