Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Director General Dr. Fatima Al-Salem praised on Sunday efforts exerted by the editorial staff and employees of the agency around the clock, especially during official holidays, describing them as the "dedicated unknown soldiers working to serve the nation." Al-Salem remarks came during an inspection tour she made in the editorial Hall to check on the workflow during the first day of Eid Al-Adha holiday. During the tour, in which a number of KUNA officials accompanied her, Al-Salem was briefed on the work in various editorial departments and heard from editors and staff. Al-Salem noted the newly developed place in the editorial departments, especially new services, like KUNA Brief, which comes as a collective effort from a number of editors and technicians in the editorial departments. Al-Salem also toured the English and French departments, and KUNA Smart Oasis. Al-Salem was accompanied by KUNA Deputy Director-General for the Administrative, Financial and Communications Affairs, Mohammad Al-Mannaie, Acting Editor-in-Chief Bader Al-Sharhan, and KUNA Photography Center and Acting Deputy Editor-in-Chief for Electronic Editorial Affairs, Hani Al-Awadh.
